KHUZDAR: Three people, including a couple, were gunned down inside their house in the Naal area of Khuzdar district on Sunday, officials said.

Levies officials said that armed men barged into the house of Mehboob Ali and opened indiscriminate fire, killing three persons on the spot. The deceased were identified as Mehboob Ali, Darya Khan and his wife.

The bodies were taken to Khuzdar district hospital. “All the three people, including the woman, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot,” said the Levies officials, while describing old enmity as the possible motive for the killing.

Later, security personnel launched a search operation in the area. However, no arrest had been reported till filing of the story late Sunday evening.
