ISLAMABAD: Engineer Ashiq Ali was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Steel Mills Karachi on Tuesday.

Ali brings with him experience spanned over 49 year in varied disciplines of engineering sector and has served as Managing Director Heavy Electrical Complex Taxila, Heavy Mechanical Complex Taxila, Pakistan Engineering Company and Pakistan Machine Tools Factory.

unless you modernize manufacturing and layoff workers to reduce cost no engineer in the world would be able to do much stop wasting time and money

He is not going to make PSM solvent. It will never be profitable. PSM is using a labor intensive 19th century steel technology.
