PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor has summoned the provincial assembly session on August 27, an official said.
The session was requisitioned by the joint opposition to hold debate on numerous issues, including Kashmir issue and province’s financial rights.
The official said that the session would start at 3pm on Aug 27.
An important segment of the session will be the oath-taking of MPAs-elect from merged tribal districts. The people of defunct Fata would get representation in the provincial assembly for the first time.
