KARACHI, July 28: The Adviser to chief minister on Public Affairs, Syed Manzoor Hasan, on Thursday directed the KWSB officials to ensure supply of water to all towns of the city including the Bin Qasim Town.

This he stated while chairing a meeting of the KWSB officials at Rerhi Goth in Bin Qasim Town after receiving a number of complaints from area residents.

The XEN KWSB, caretaker/TMO Bin Qasim Town, TO, DDO, DD Maintenance and area representatives were present.

The adviser said people had complained of water shortage in the various localities in Bin Qasim Town he had visited.

He added that the sewerage system in the area was also dilapidated, and heaps of garbage and debris were lying at various spots due to incomplete development works creating problems for area people.

Mr Hasan asked the KWSB officials to resolve the water shortage problem of the area and immediately complete ongoing uplift projects. — PPI
