CHARSADDA: Nine people, including six children and two women, sustained severe injuries when roof of a house weakened by rains collapsed in Harichand area here on Saturday morning.

The injured were admitted to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar where condition of four of them is stated to be critical.

Meanwhile, two brothers were shot and injured near Subhan Khwar on Michni Road. As per the report registered with the police station concerned, Tariq and his two brothers, Iqbal and Javed, who were on board a van opened fire on Yasir Shah and Mohammad Yaseen, leaving them critically injured. Tariq tried to flee the scene in his van but was arrested.
