THE traffic problem in Skardu is getting worse day by day. The ever-increasing number of vehicles is one of the main factors causing traffic jams in Skardu.
Secondly, roads are too small for the movement of automobiles, especially in commercial areas. Resultantly, people reach their offices and homes late. Tourists are also badly affected by the heavy rush on roads.
Besides, one hardly finds a proper place for parking vehicles. The drivers park their cars wrongly which creates problems for pedestrians and other drivers.
The authorities concerned should take measures to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
