KASUR: A seven-year-old boy was electrocuted here on Tuesday at Sheikhum village in Sara-i-Mughal police precincts.

Abdullah (7) was playing at the rooftop of his house when he suddenly touched electricity wires passing over there. He was electrocuted on the spot.

In another incident, a buffalo of farmer Sher Ali was electrocuted at Joyia Otar village.

Later, dozens of villagers staged a protest demonstration near Khudian bus stop and expressed their concern over the [alleged] negligence of Lesco officials.
