DADU, July 25: The district president of People’s Party Parliamentarians, MNA Rafique Ahmed Jamali, has announced names of candidates for the post of nazims and naib nazims of 52 union councils of Dadu district here on Monday. The names were announced at a meeting which was also attended by MPAs Marvi Mazharul Haq and Sharafunnisa Leghari.
DADU ITTEHAD: Meanwhile, the Dadu Ittehad has released the names of its candidates for 52 union councils of the district for local body elections.
This was decided at a meeting of candidates at the Betto village on Monday.
TALUKA MEHAR: The names of candidates for UC nazim seats. Syed Altaf Hussain Shah for UC Mehar, Ahmed Khan Solangi for UC Balishah, Sikandar Ali for UC Nau Goth, Dr Naeem Soomro for UC Shah Panjo, Gulzar Dahar for UC Bothro, Zahid Sihole for UC Baledai, Dr Rashid Sodhar for UC Qazi Arif, Dr Hidayat for UC Khan Jo Goth, Lala Abdul Ghaffar Dero for UC Faridabad, Ishaque Janwari for UC Mangwani, Najeeb Ahmed for UC Thariri Mohabbat, and Anwar Jhatial for UC Radhan.
TALUKA K.N.SHAH: Nisar Shaikh for UC Khairpur Nathan Shah, Abdul Raheem for UC Sindhi Butra, Ahmed Ismail for UC Dhani Bux Bughio, Abid Lakhair for UC Thalho, Farman Chandio for UC Chore Qambar, Riaz Gadhi for UC Gozo, Ali Mohammad Soomro for UC Sita Road, Javed Chandio for UC Paria, Maqsood Buriro for UC Burira, Mashood Gadhi for UC Chanke Chukhi, Abdul Raheem Junejo for UC Seehar, Sadaqat Narejo for UC Mitho Babar.
The chairman of Dadu Ittehad also announced the names of candidates for nazim and naib nazim seats of 10 union councils of Johi and 15 union councils of Dadu taluka.
SHAHEED DOST PANEL: A meeting of the Shaheed Dost Panel was held here which was presided over by the district president of PPP-SB Dadu, Ali Mohammad Jamali.
The meeting was attended by leaders of STPP, SNP, SNSF which decided that STPP, SNP, SNSF and PPP-SB would field candidates jointly in 52 union councils under the name of Shaheed Dost Panel.
Meanwhile MMA, PML-N, PML and Tehrik-i-Insaf Pakistan also announced the names of their candidates.
ELECTION COMMISSION: The Assistant Election Commissioner of Dadu has said that nine returning officers have been appointed for Mehar, Khairpur Nathan Shah, Johi and Dadu talukas. He said that total 533,858 voters would elect their representatives for the local bodies elections in the district.
Meanwhile, former district nazim Malik Asad Sikandar has announced the names of candidates for nazims and naib nazims of 28 union councils of the newly-created Jamshoro district. The PML district president of Jamshoro, Malik Changez Khan, has also announced names of the candidates of his group.
