LAKKI MARWAT: Police have arrested four people, including two proclaimed offenders, during an operation in Kotka Shadi Khan village of Naurang town here on Sunday.

An official said that a police party led by SHO Zaheer Khan raided hideouts of the outlaws and arrested four persons without any resistance.

He said that Elite Force commandos also assisted the police in the operation. “The arrested men included Asif Nawaz, Mohsin Khan, Irshad Ahmad and Arif Nawaz, all residents of Kotka Shadi Khan,” he said, adding that Asif and Mohsin were wanted by police in murder, attempted murder and other cases.

He said that the police seized three AK-47 assault rifles, two shotguns, two daggers and 10 magazines from the arrested men and have registered cases against them.

KILLED: A teenager was stabbed to death in Kotka Jabaray village here on Sunday.

Tajori police said that Habibur Rehman and his son Abdul Rehman (13) were grazing cattle in the fields when Abdullah and Shawar Gul allegedly came and started quarreling with Abdul Rehman.

Meanwhile, Abdullah took out his dagger and attacked Abdul Rehman, leaving him seriously injured.

He later succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital in Tajori town.
