LAHORE: Numerous athletes and officials observed the Olympic Day at the Wapda Sports Complex here on Saturday.
As many as 200 athletes took part in the Olympic Day walk. along with secretaries and presidents of many national sports federations and officials of the Wapda Sports Board and Punjab Sports Board attended the celebrations.
Hockey Olympians including Manzoor-ul-Hasan Sr, Col. Mudassar Asghar, Tauqir Dar, Khalid Hameed, Salim Nazim, Navid Alam former Test cricketer Shafqat Rana attended the ceremony.
International wrestlers Inam Butt and Inyatullah also took part in sporting activities with children.
