Mohammad Hafeez
Pakistan

PAKISTAN are fortunate to have Mohammad Hafeez playing in this World Cup. The elder statesman has already made a huge impact with a sterling innings against England that earned him the man-of-the-match. The 38-year-old is a seasoned campaigner with over 200 ODI appearances and his presence on the field is priceless asset for a team which needs guidance. Moreover, Hafeez is also a useful off-spinner.

Steve Smith
Australia

STEVE Smith is a class act when he gets going despite possessing a peculiar batting style, although he started the career as leg-spinner who batted in the lower order. His fall from grace in the wake of the sandpaper-gate scandal is now behind him. The former captain is a vital cog in this Australian line-up and has already been in among the runs with two 50-plus scores in the tournament.
