KHUZDAR: A man and his son were shot dead in Nal tehsil of Khuzdar district on Sunday evening.

Police officials said that gunmen on a motorcycle shot dead Mohammad Akbar Nandwani and his son in Khati-Chak area of Nal tehsil.

The victims were targeted when they were going home.

The motive of the killing could not be known immediately. Levies personnel were investigating the case.

Meanwhile, three people were killed and nine others were injured when a pick-up collided with a passenger coach after a tyre of the pick-up burst. The accident left three people, including two women, dead and nine others injured.

The injured were taken to the Kalat district hospital. Later, they were taken to the Quetta Civil Hospital.
