Taiser Town

Published May 27, 2019

WE have all heard of the Malir Development Authority and their low-cost residential scheme in Taiser Town scheme 45 in Karachi. The project was launched on March 1 and they had authorised a bank to sell and receive the application forms along with the down payment and processing fee, which could be till March 30.

The scheme was quite an attractive opportunity for the middle income strata of the city. So far, the MDA has received a million submissions for 30,000 plots, as everyone wants to build a house there. The investors are hopeful to get their dream plot but as yet no date for balloting has been fixed.

So, what is the fate of this scheme? Is it a golden opportunity for us or will our hopes fall like a house of cards? I request the authorities concerned to please look into this matter.
