ISLAMABAD, July 16: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has directed the railway ministry to submit an inquiry report at the earliest about the triple train disaster near Ghotki. The prime minister issued the directive soon after his return from abroad at the Chaklala Airbase on Saturday morning. Pakistan Railways Minister Mian Shamim Haider had briefed him about the July 13 accident.

The prime minister also directed the ministry to take measures to avoid this kind of accidents in future and urged the minister to punish the responsible for the tragic accident.

He said the injured should be provided the best treatment facilities.—APP
