MOIN Akhter, who died on this day in 2011, ruled over the hearts of people through his brilliant acting, stand-up comedy and unique hosting of TV shows. He is considered one of the most versatile actors of Pakistan’s showbiz industry and a fine human being who was always willing to go the extra mile for the less unfortunate.

Moin could perform emotional characters with equal ease and ability while his humour and wit brought laughter to millions of faces over decades. There is no doubt he was the complete entertainer.

His teaming up with veteran Anwer Maqsood gave the people many masterpieces like ‘Loose Talk’, ‘Angan Tera’, ‘Half Plate’, ‘Studio Dhai’ and many more.
