RAWALPINDI: A survey started on Monday in preparation for installation of “face reading cameras” at the Islamabad International Airport that could keep track of people’s movement. Such cameras are expected to be installed at Karachi and Lahore airports too.

According to sources, a two-member team of foreign experts, along with six Pakistanis, visited domestic lounges of the Islamabad airport to install the face reading cameras.

The foreign experts will visit the airport again on Tuesday to select the spots in the international arrival and departure lounges for installation of the gadgets.

In some other countries, China for instance, millions of CCTV cameras keep track of citizens.
