GWADAR: Two security personnel were martyred and another was injured in an attack in Gwadar district on Saturday.

Official sources said armed men holed up in the mountains in the Dharam area between Turbat and Gwadar opened fire on security personnel patrolling the area. As a result, two security men lost their lives and an officer got injured.

When security personnel returned fire, the attackers fled the site.

A heavy contingent of Frontier Corps and officials of local administration rushed to the scene of the crime and shifted the bodies and the injured to district hospital.

Security forces launched a search operation in the area to trace out the attackers.
