SHANGLA: Shangla police on Saturday arrested two members of a gang of auto thieves and seized a car from their possession in Martung here.

The gang was wanted to several police stations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in car theft cases.

Martung SHO Syed Mehmood told a news conference that on directives of district police officer Syed Rasool Shah, they arrested members of the car lifters’ gang during checking and recovered a car from their possession and registered cases against them.

The SHO said that both the proclaimed offenders identified as Sham Zada, resident of Marjali Martung, and Musharaf of Kolalai Puran were wanted to police stations of Shergarh Mardan, Jwar Buner, Martung, Khwazakhela, Mata and Chakesar in car theft cases.
