ANOTHER man was killed on Wednesday. Another educator was laid to rest.

What is happening to our society? When I woke up to the news of a college professor being stabbed to death by his student in Bhawalpur, I was shocked.

TV channels claim that the incident took place over a difference of opinion. Have we become barbarians that we cannot stand someone with a different point of view?

Why can we not look at the New Zealand massacre and learn from that. Look at the compassion, the love that has grown from that. Society has come together. We need to stand united in the face of our troubles — not kill each other over a few opinions.

We need to teach our children better. We need to create awareness, we need to educate them if we want society to prosper.
