EXORBITANT and unreasonably high tuition fee are being still charged by many private schools in many areas of Karachi, particularly in Gulistan-i-Johar, a densely populated area of the city.

Parents with meagre income are facing problems because of the high-handed behaviour of such school managements. They have issued vouchers, demanding advance payment of full fee for summer vacation 2019. To add insult to injury these school managements have refused to return or even adjust the arrears of 20 per cent in tuition fee.

The education authorities should look into the matter.
