LAKKI MARWAT: Two people, including an FC personnel, were killed and two others sustained injuries in separate firing incidents here on Tuesday.

Police quoted complainant Hussain Khan as saying he and his brother, Amir Ali came under attack by their rivals when they were going to Naurang city on a motorcycle.

As a result, Amir Ali, a Frontier Corp personnel, died instantly while Hussain escaped.

The police said the deceased’s family had a land dispute with killers.

Police said they had registered a case against the killers under sections 302, 324 and 34 of PPC and began investigations.

Separately, a man was killed and his brother and cousin were wounded when their rivals sprayed them with bullets in Tajazai village.

Police said Ihsanullah, his brother Inamullah and cousin Samiullah were intercepted by their rivals near a hujra. They said Qadim attacked Ihsanullah with an iron rod while on his orders, his sons Qudratullah and Rehmanullah opened fire on Inamullah and Samiullah.

As a result, Inamullah was killed on the spot while Samiullah was seriously wounded, they said, adding the body and the injured were shifted to district headquarters hospital, Tajazai. A case was registered against the killers.
