KARACHI: Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) defeated Aga Khan University 3-0 in the final to clinch the HEC Zone G Inter-varsity volleyball championship at the Government College of Physical Education the other day.

The SSUET spikers were home 25-15, 25-19, 25-14 over their opponents.

Both the finalists have qualified for the final round being held at Peshawar from Feb 17. Top two teams from the nine zones will feature in the contest.

Earlier, in the semi-finals SSUET trounced IBA 25-15, 25-17, 25-22 while Aga Khan University routed Szabist 25-12, 25-16, 25-21.
