THIS is apropos Zahoor’s cartoon (Jan.16) which highlights Pakistan’s batting woes. The team’s batting collapse is a major reason for the Test series defeat at the hand of the South Africans.
The striking feature of the cartoon is that a Pakistani batsman is drawn as having a bat but no hands to the bat. An apt comment indeed.
This picture is sharp and constructive criticism of Pakistan’s batting dilemma that needs to be fixed prior to the 2019 World Cup.
