LAHORE: Waseem Ahmad Sayal, RPO Multan, was elected as the president, Muhammad Rizwan as honorary secretary general and Akif Naeem Butt as chairman for the next four-year term during the general council meeting of the Punjab Netball Association (PNA) held here at a local hotel on Friday.

Besides these top office bearers, others who were elected include Mian Muhammad Afzal as senior vice president while vice presidents are Ahmed Yasir, Abidullah Babar, Miss Sadia Asim and Nazish Waheed.

Ayesha Shair is the honorary treasurer while Farhan Ali, Farman Israr and Ms Sadaf have been elected as the associate secretaries.

The executive committee comprises Hamza Muazzam, Muhammad Irfan, Miss Bushra Imran, Salman Saqib, Gazanfar Shah and Usman Ali.

Pakistan Netball Federation’s (PNF) President Mudas­sar Arain also attended the meeting to observe the election process and termed it fair and transparent.
