MQM properties

Published January 9, 2019

THE recent order by the court regarding the confiscation of the MQM’s properties valued at more than three billion rupees is a good decision in all respects.

The confiscated properties include buses, other vehicles, buildings and properties acquired through unfair and unlawful means.

These assets were not being used for public welfare and meant to further the vested interests of the party and its then supremo when the party was a terror for the people of urban Sindh.

I strongly propose that the confiscated properties be sold through public auction and the sale proceeds be deposited into the construction of dams’ bank accounts.
