Power to remain suspended

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that it will suspend power supply from six to eight hours in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Jan 8 to 16 due to maintenance work on the transmission lines.

According to a statement issued here on Monday, the consumers of Saddar Road, MES-2 and Mall Road will face inconvenience on Jan 9 from 9am to 3pm.

Similarly, the consumers in RVC-1 area of Tarbela, Village 3, Ghazi Barotha and Beraj will be affected from 9am to 5 pm on Jan 8, 9, 10.

It was stated that power supply will also remain suspended in Faqirabad-2, Nishtarabad, Sikandarpura, Islamabad, Gulbahar-1, National Highway Authority and Radio Pakistan on Jan 10, 12 and 15 from 9am to 3pm.

In Kohat district, the consumers of Dora Road, Kohat Road 1, 2, Ring Road-2 will suffer due to power suspension on Jan 9, 10, 15 and 16 from 9am to 3pm.
