ATTOCK: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Malik Hakmeen Khan, who died in Islamabad at the age of 75 on Friday, was laid to rest at his birthplace of Sheen Bagh here on Saturday.

His funeral prayer was attended among others by former prime ministers Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Farhatullah Khan Babar, federal minister Malik Amin Aslam, ex-federal minister Sheikh Aftab Ahmad and PPP AJK leader Asher Hayat.

Malik Hakmeen was one of the founding members of the PPP and remained associated with the party for life.
