QUETTA: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan Director General Mohammad Abid Javed has said that the bureau is committed to eradicating corruption through its holistic approach.

“No leniency would be shown to the corrupt elements and they will be dealt with as per law,” he said while listening to the complainants who called on him during an open kutchery here on Thursday.

He said in the light of NAB chairman retired Justice Javed Iqbal’s vision the bureau was pursuing the policy of across-the-board accountability. He said strict action would be taken against those who looted national wealth and cheated the public for their vested interests

A large number of people attended the open kutchery and submitted complaints against government functionaries, departments and private individuals.
