QUETTA: Former senator and leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP) Nawabzada Haji Lashkri has condemned the kidnapping of a senior doctor from Quetta, saying it was a well-planned conspiracy to disturb the law and order situation in the province. Mr Raisani on Saturday visited a doctors’ camp that they had set up in protest against the kidnapping of Dr Ibrahim Khalil.

Mr Raisani, who is also the president of the Balochistan Peace Forum, said: “Kidnappings of doctors in broad day light and targeted killing of innocent people in the name of sect and language have created a sense of insecurity among the masses.”
