Thank you for publishing my letter ‘Pakistan Citizen Portal’ in the Dec 6 issue. The publication of the letter had a very positive effect.

I received a phone call from the Prime Minister’s Office on Dec 7 at 9.40am thanking me for the suggestions/complaints and explaining the reasons for forwarding the complaints to the chief secretary of Sindh, which is automatic and who should refer the complaint to the concerned department within 24 hours.

The chief secretary’s office is not geared up to handle this routing and is making efforts to arrange for the clearance of the back log.
