ISLAMABAD: Top seed Cheong-Edi Kim of South Korea kept his supremacy intact, lifting the Serena-Hotels ITF Futures title when he defeated second-seeded Japanese Rio Noguchi 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 6-1 in the final at the PTF Complex here on Sunday.

Mohammad Shoaib outlasted Saqib Hayat 6-4, 6-4 un the Boys’ Under-18 singles final while Sami Zeb overcame Uzair Khan 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 for the Boys’ Under-14 crown.

In Saturday’s finals, Sara Mehboob lifted the ladies title when she beat Sara Mansoor 2-6, 6-3,6-2 while Kim and Noguchi claimed the men’s doubles title with a 6-2, 6-4 win over the Serb-Uzbek pair of Darko Jandric and Shonigmatjon Shofayziyev.
