DADU: Dadu sizzles at 51°C

DADU, June 24: Different parts of the Dadu district, including Phulji, Khudabad, Johi, Sita Road, Radhan, Khairpur Nathan Shah and Mehar experienced the hottest day of the season on Friday. The mercury rose to 51 degree Celsius.

Twelve people in Dadu, 10 in Khairpur Nathan Shah, 7 in Mehar and 5 in Johi fell unconscious due to scorching heat and were admitted to hospitals.

The bazaars of the Dadu town wore a deserted look. Transport also remained thin. The doctors have advised people to remain indoors and use cold water in the daytime.
