Islamabad airport

Published November 18, 2018

THE three most prominent leaders of the Pakistan Movement were Allama Iqbal, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Liaquat Ali Khan. The Lahore international airport is named after Allama Iqbal and the Karachi one after Jinnah.

I think it would be best to name the Islamabad airport after Liaquat Ali Khan and do justice to the country’s first prime minister for his contributions during the Pakistan Movement and steering the country during early and difficult times.
