KARACHI: Askari Club overcame stiff resistance from Arambagh Club to win their key fixture 70-65 in the 3rd Essa Lab Basketball Tournament here at the Arambagh courts on Friday.
Syed Bakhtiar with 34 points was the architect of Askari Club’s victory. He was well supported by Zainullah (16 points) and Assam (11 points).
For the losing side, Hasan Ali and asad Hafeez both scored 15 points while Saad Saifullah (8 points) and Obaidur Rahman (7 points) also played well.
