Man killed in Mirali bomb blast

PESHAWAR: A man was killed while three others were seriously wounded when a bomb went off in Mirali tehsil of North Waziristan tribal district on Friday, hospital sources said.

Officials and residents said the incident occurred in Eidek area near Mirali town.

An explosive device planted in a motorcycle and abandoned along the road went off, killing one person on the spot and injuring three others.

The wounded persons were shifted to the district headquarters hospital in Miramshah.

Officials said investigations were underway and no arrests had so far been made.
