LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited and National Bank of Pakistan played a 3-3 draw in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) here at Punjab Stadium on Saturday.

SNGPL fought back to earn the draw after trailing 1-3 in the match. They, however, got off to a fine start against NBP as Mohammad Shoaib struck a field goal in the 16th minute. However, NBP responded quickly and strongly scoring back-to-back goals through Adil Ahmed (21st, 33rd) to take a 2-1 lead.

Adding to the woes of SNGPL, Sher Ali made it 3-1 for NBP in the dying minutes of the first half.

Striving to stage a comeback, SNGPL had to wait for 25th minute of the second half before leveling the score, thanks to Sada Bahar who slammed in back-to-back goals.

He first found the net in the 70th minute and then fired the equaliser five minutes later to help his team earn a draw.

Meanwhile, Balochsitan Noushki Club and Civil Aviation played a goalless draw in the day’s second match.
