KARACHI: Attock Cement Ltd reported profit after tax (PAT) at Rs423 million and earnings per share (EPS) at Rs3.69 for the quarter ended Sept 30, down 30pc from profit Rs605m (EPS:Rs5.28).

Revenue clocked in at Rs5.84 billion, up 63pc, from Rs3.59bn for same 3QCY18. The company’s topline grew on account of 85pc jump in total despatches to 963,000 tonnes.

Attock Refinery records Rs64.5m loss: Attock Refinery Ltd posted unconsolidated loss of Rs64.5m and loss per share of Rs0.61 for the quarter ended Sept 30, down from PAT at Rs758m and EPS Rs7.11.

Attock Petroleum earns Rs1.55bn: The company posted earnings of Rs1.55bn and EPS Rs15.55 for 3QCY18, up from Rs1.33bn and EPS Rs13.36. ----

POL profit surges 53pc: Pakistan Oilfields Ltd (POL) announced (standalone) 3QCY18 PAT at Rs3.87bn (EPS: Rs13.62), higher by 53pc, from Rs2.53bn earnings (EPS: Rs8.93). NRL posts Rs1.07bn loss: National Refinery Ltd (NRL) recorded unconsolidated loss of Rs1.07bn for 3QCY18 (LPS: Rs13.33) against Rs1.70bn PAT and Rs21.26 EPS from same period last year. On the other hand, net sales rose to Rs41.26bn from Rs29.93bn.
