108 police stations with higher crime ratio identified

KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Dr Syed Kaleem Imam was informed at a meeting on Monday that 108 police stations had been specified with a higher crime ratio in their jurisdictions.

The additional inspector general of police of Karachi informed the police chief about the measures taken against street crimes, kidnapping of children, police deployment in commercial areas and others.

The IGP ordered indiscriminate actions against street criminals and to ensure elimination of street crimes from the city. He asked officials to review the strategy made for the elimination of crimes.
