KARACHI: The Pakistan Tax Bar Association (PTBA) has urged the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to extend the last date of filing income tax returns and wealth statements from Sept 30 to Nov 16.

The PTBA in support of its demand pointed out that there had been frequent and fundamental changes in Income Tax Return and Wealth Statement forms even after their introduction.

It also reminded the FBR that draft corporate tax return for the tax year 2018 is still awaited and this is also to be filed on Sept 30 in case of special accounting year.
