KARACHI: An attempt was made to illegally get possession of the land of Karachi University (KU) through a fake notification, said a KU spokesperson in a press release on Sunday.

KU Vice Chancellor Porf Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan has constituted a high-level committee on this issue, which would present its report within three days that would be made public.

The VC on the fake notification said the KU would investigate it with the help of the forensic department. If any KU official was found involved in the act, the administration would take strict action against that person, he added.
