SUKKUR: The Sukkur Softball Association (SSA) will be organizing an NSA Defence Day Women Softball Championship on Sept 8-9 at the Naz Pilot School in Sukkur.

National Softball Academy (NSA) Director Academy Mohammad Nasir said that academy teams of Sukkur, Khairpur and Karachi will feature in the two-day event to celebrate the Defence Day of Pakistan.

Nigar Ali Mangi has been appointed as chairman organizing committee while Mohamamd Rehan and Fahim Saleem have been appointed as secretary and coordinator respectively.

Lala Abdul Ghafoor, President Khairpur Traders Association will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony while Deputy Commissioner Khairpur Abdul Fateh will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
