KARACHI: The Eid-Ul-Azha Cup figures prominently as a competitive five-race card that has been drawn for the summer Gymkhana race meeting which takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The Eid-Ul-Azha Cup has half-a-dozen acceptors and also serves as a feature event, scale order I, II and III to be contested over five furlongs. It is the fourth race in racing order.

A good number of 35 horses have entered the fray which shows signs of improvement after the new managing committee was elected unopposed on last Saturday for one-year term.

According to acceptance, five-year-old bay horse Kaka will make his debut in the first race.

The first two races will go over four furlongs while the remaining three will be contested over five furlongs.

The first race gets into action at 3pm.
