KHUZDAR: Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal) president Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal has said that the success of his party in the election is the result of party’s continuous struggle and sacrifices of its workers.

Speaking in his native town of Wadh on Friday to the people who had called on him to congratulate him on the party’s success in the election, Mr Mengal said that the “party’s victory and the people’s positive response is not accidental, but a long struggle is behind it and that proves that the party has roots in the masses who have supported it in the elections”.

“People fully supported the election alliance between BNP-Mengal and the MMA in Jhalawan,” Sardar Akhtar Mengal said and thanked the people for their positive response to the election alliance.

He said that his party could not celebrate its victory in the election because hundreds of families were mourning the death of their loved ones in suicide attacks in Mastung and Quetta.
