LAHORE: Crticising PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif for trying to befool Karachiites with false claims of providing safe drinking water, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s Dr Yasmin Rashid said the Sharif family has ruled for over three decades, but failed to provide water even in their home constituency of NA-125.

During an election campaign in the constituency, Dr Rashid spoke to the media and chided the PML-N president for his antics in Karachi and said the Sharif family had been unable to provide a decent public school, a health facility or clean drinking water in NA-125.

Showing bottles of muddy water, she asked how Shahbaz Sharif could provide clean drinking water, remove garbage and fix sewerage pipes when he could not offer these facilities in his home constituency during his 10-year rule as chief minister of Punjab. Karachiites should not get deceived by Mr Sharif’s “jugglery”, she said.

Dr Rashid challenged Shahbaz Sharif to visit her constituency and hold a press conference about what he offered to the residents of NA-125. She said the Sharif family had looted national wealth and laundered money abroad.
