The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has put to rest speculations regarding a possible seat adjustment with former PML-N bigwig and now independent election candidate Chaudhary Nisar.

PTI Information Secretary Fawad Chaudhary has said that the party's vice-president Ghulam Sarwar Khan has already been fielded in three out of the four constituencies of Nisar's choosing.

Party chairman Imran Khan had made news earlier this year when he had invited Nisar to join PTI when the latter's differences with the PML-N leadership had started becoming apparent.

Sarwar has also said that he has informed Imran that he would only be withdrawing his candidacy from the constituencies Nisar has chosen to contest the elections from if the former PML-N stalwart joins the PTI.

While announcing his decision to part ways with PML-N, Nisar had once again chosen to brush aside a question regarding joining the PTI by telling his supporters to "focus on the elections, [I] will decide what is better."
