LAHORE: The national selection committee headed by Inzamam-ul-Haq on Monday made just one change to the team that played the last T20 home series against the West Indies, as it announced a 15-member squad for the two-match T20 International series against Scotland being held in Edinburgh on June 12 and 13.

Batsman Babar Azam, who was injured after a ball hit his forearm during the first Test against England at Lord’s last month and returned home before the second Test, is not included in the national Twenty20 squad.

“The selection committee, except one change of unfit Babar Azam, announced the team for the two T20 matches against Scotland after consultation with captain Sarfraz Ahmed and head coach Mickey Arthur. The two-match T20 series will be played on June 12 and 13,” a PCB press release stated.

“The national T20 squad from the West Indies series has been retained other than Babar who got injured during the first Test match against England. Babar has been replaced by Haris Sohail in the squad for Scotland series,” the press release added.

The Pakistan cricketers who will join the team in Scotland are Ahmed Shehzad, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Nawaz, Usman Shinwari and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

And those who stay in England after the end of the two-Test series, include Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, captain Sarfraz Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Aamir, Hasan Ali and Rahet Ali.
