RAWALPINDI: A man was shot and killed as he left a mosque after offering a relative’s funeral prayers in Sadiqabad on Thursday.

Altaf Hussain, 40, lived in Kotha Kalan, Adiala Road, and was in Sadiqabad for the funeral.

Police said he had parked his car outside a shop and gone into the mosque, and when he returned a shopkeeper – who had already argued with him over a parking issue – began fighting with him and then pulled out a pistol and shot him, killing him on the spot.

Police said raids to arrest the suspected killer are underway, as he is still at large.
