Laptops distributed

RAWALPINDI: As many as 1,915 laptops were distributed among the students of government colleges and universities in Rawalpindi division.

A ceremony in this regard was held in Dr A.Q. Khan Auditorium at Government Viqar-un-Nisa Post Graduate College for Women.

Students securing more than 1000 marks were awarded with laptops at the ceremony.

Total 809 students from Rawalpindi District participated in the ceremony out of which 195 from District Jhelum, 499 from District Chakwal, 209 from UET and 203 students from Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi received their laptops.

PML-N MNA Malik Abrar, additional deputy commissioner general Rao Atif, additional director colleges, Punjab, Ch. Jahangir Ahmad, district director Colleges Malik Mohammad Asghar, deputy director Colleges Sher Ahmad Satti attended the function.

Government Viqar-un-Nisa Post Graduate College for Women Principal Prof. Dr. Saira Mufti along with other guests praised the achievements of the students.
