PESHAWAR: Members of the government-nominated jirga and leaders of Pakhtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) held another round of talks here on Wednesday. However, PTM leader Manzoor Pashteen was not present in the meeting.

The meeting held at the residence of MNA Shahjee Gul Afridi decided that PTM would nominate its representatives in the next two days who would be included in a negotiation committee.

MNA Shahjee Gul told Dawn that the federal government would notify the committee. He said that the joint committee would hold talks with the quarters concerned to address issues of Pakhtuns.

“These issues will be addressed in accordance with the constitution and law,” said the parliamentarian from Khyber Agency. He said that terms of reference would be drafted for the committee after nomination of its members.
