Why Karachi?

Published April 27, 2018

I FAIL to understand why Karachi is being meted out a stepmotherly treatment by the federal government in all walks of life. Be it power loadshedding, gas loadshedding, water shortage or garbage piled all over the city except in posh localities, all its issues have been completely ignored by the sitting government.

It is Karachi, though, which brings 70 per cent of the country’s entire revenue to the exchequer. Why then is it not being treated as a part of Pakistan? Mind-boggling !
